2) 문법 (Grammar)

주제: 비교급과 최상급 (Comparative & Superlative Adjectives) 복습

비교급과 최상급을 사용하면 물건의 가격, 품질, 크기 등을 비교할 수 있습니다.

1. 비교급 (Comparative) - 두 개의 대상을 비교할 때 사용

• 형용사 + -er + than 또는 more + 형용사 + than 형태를 사용
• 예문:
  • This shirt is cheaper than that one. (이 셔츠가 저 셔츠보다 저렴해요.)
  • This brand is more popular than the other. (이 브랜드가 다른 브랜드보다 인기가 많아요.)

2. 최상급 (Superlative) - 세 개 이상의 대상을 비교할 때 사용

• the + 형용사 + -est 또는 the most + 형용사 형태를 사용
• 예문:
  • This is the cheapest item in the store. (이것이 가게에서 가장 저렴한 아이템이에요.)
  • This brand is the most expensive in the shop. (이 브랜드가 가게에서 가장 비싸요.)
